You have managed to put down what I have always been too exhausted to articulate. I want to point everyone I know to this post and say "THIS is how I feel!".

One thing I wanted to add in case it helps people in our situation: we picked up a second hand ABC buggy with toddler seat (I hear the newer ones recline, ours doesn't). I went back to work at 6 months; we've used it almost every day since and it has been an absolute life saver. Admittedly wouldn't go in most cars, but for transporting two babies and a toddler whatever the weather, it's been brilliant. I'm in denial about what happens when they grow out of it - the boys walking independently down the street seems utterly hazard filled!

Thank you again - great blog :) Hope the medals come thick and fast ..bleupeephttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08595036052237822518noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8899605075725744886.post-13774434532753167272012-08-19T12:05:58.236-07:002012-08-19T12:05:58.236-07:00thank you for stopping by Catie, and it has felt g...thank you for stopping by Catie, and it has felt good to know so many others agree with my posts - I guess we are all in it together! People really do say inanely stupid things to mothers of twins.
I have 4 children, and the twins are no. 3 and no. 4. People would tell me I was crazy having twins when I already had 2 older children... as if I chose to do it that way!
I am now a single mother, and regularly get myself 'medals', cos let's face it, if I didn't, I'd probably have grey hair and be rocking in the corner somewhere by now LOL.

Great blog; it's nice to know we're not alone :)Catiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00024116754536576249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8899605075725744886.post-56923894027053804752012-08-13T10:51:59.611-07:002012-08-13T10:51:59.611-07:00I know what you mean, I avoided other parents of t...I know what you mean, I avoided other parents of twins for a while but in the end I gave up and realised that it is around other parents of multiples that I don't feel quite so much of a sideshow! xAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11983644036251471526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8899605075725744886.post-64319935136040012452012-08-11T11:15:21.941-07:002012-08-11T11:15:21.941-07:00You are my medal and, one day, your boys and your ...You are my medal and, one day, your boys and your girl will be yours - in the mean time i'll bring chocolate on Wednesday xxx mam bachAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8899605075725744886.post-80745185031731496952012-08-11T11:12:24.732-07:002012-08-11T11:12:24.732-07:00i had my oldest and my twins only 19 months apart....i had my oldest and my twins only 19 months apart. i agree with you. and with twins....the questions never stop with strangers. some even get really personal. i guess they see twins and think NO subject is off limits. {sigh} sometimes i feel like a freak show in public.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
